Weekend Shopping: butter LONDON's Royal Baby Polish, Last Day of Zoya's Earth Day Exchange, Deborah Lippmann's Newest Mermaid Polishes, and more!

Happy weekend everyone! Do you have anything fun planned? It's the last weekend of the Tribeca Film Festival so we're hoping to catch a couple movies films. The cherry blossom festival "Sakura Matsuri" is also happening tomorrow and Sunday at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.

As usual... there are lots of new things to talk about this weekend :)

We probably should have seen this coming - butter LONDON has released a new limited edition polish to honor the royal baby! Pitter Patter is "an opaque aubergine shimmer" and available now online.

It's the final day of Zoya's Earth Day Nail Polish Exchange*.

FIVE new multichrome holographic polishes from Pretty Jelly are available now on Etsy.

Now there's a polish for every kind of mermaid thanks to Deborah Lippmann's newest collection*.

Clinique has launched a new line of nail polish* that is designed for gals (and guys!) with sensitive skin and eyes.

There's another new indie nail polish brand to fall in love with! Check out Me.Lissa Custom Blended Nail Lacquer on Etsy.

Dig out your black light: Illamasqua's new Paranormal UV nail polish collection will be available on April 30th.

Did you hear about the guy who stole 102 bottles of nail polish from a CVS?

And more importantly... has anyone seen Essence at a Walgreens in NYC yet?

Let's Get Lost in Central Park

LOST

While Central Park is vast, well worn walkways and historic landmarks help visitors from getting too turned around. But there is one part of the park that both tourists and seasoned park explorers can become happily lost in - the Ramble.

Just north of the Bethesda Terrace, the 36 acre Ramble was designed for visitors to wander and enjoy trails around the lake and deep into the woods. The winding, rustic paths through the Ramble allow you to imagine a time before the city was developed. Exploring the Ramble reminds me of the Lost island... each time, I find something new. But it's really tricky to find the same place twice! Running over large glacial rocks is a stream we joke is the "source of the island's energy" :) I just hope there isn't a smoke monster!

Essence "Let's Get Lost" is a stunning creamy Caribbean sea blue that that applies opaque in only one coat. This polish is fantastic for the summer, and also is a great base color for many glittery or sheer top coats - NYX Maven and Sally Hansen DVD come to mind.

Any fans of the "LOST" series or Essence "Let's Get Lost" out there?

Selection Sunday: Choose Me!

Tonight is a big night for college basketball - 68 teams will be selected for the NCAA bracket, kicking off March Madness! Just last night, the Big East championship game was held in Madison Square Garden.

I would imagine most everyone reading has a hard time picking just one favorite nail polish color. If your favorite colors faced off head to head, who would win?

I know Choose Me by Essence would be fighting strong for a top spot! This turquoise foil out glistens the competition, and with the 99 cent price tag it is hard to match in value.

You can watch the college basketball selection tonight at 6PM on CBS. Did your alma mater make the tournament?

I purchased the product featured in this post. Read more about my disclosure policy here.
