When I first spotted the display of Sinful Colors Crystal Crushes collection last weekend, I didn't buy Treasure Chest. But, when I went back the next day for better documentation, the beautiful & electric sea green polish Treasure Chest won me over - it was almost as it this polish was looking at me with sad puppy dog eyes begging me to take it home!
So now I present to you Treasure Chest :)
Treasure Chest is a teal blue/green with tiny gold shimmer (I am terrible with the whole teal vs turquoise thing btw). The formula is like Got A Crush On You and while quite opaque, the texture effect takes a while to appear. The base color is so much fun! It's greener than Essie In The Cab-Ana (but just as saturated) and bluer than Essie Turquoise and Caicos. It's more saturated than China Glaze For Audrey. Inglot O2M 687 is very close. In low light, this electric teal looks neon! My pictures are color corrected to best represent the actual color.
The gold glitter has so much potential but unfortunately falls flat :/ Treasure Chest has so much potential but it's just not as flashy as a PixieDust or Liquid Sand polish. I know, I keep comparing the Sinful Colors textured polish to PixieDust and Liquid Sand, but after trying the Sinful Colors textured polish, I have a better appreciate for how awesome PixieDust and Liquid Sand polishes are.
I shared my thoughts about the display and price point here in my review of Got A Crush On You. Check out images of the rest of the collection over on Nouveau Cheap.
