OPI 'Every Month is Oktoberfest'

Confession: The last time I bought an OPI polish was in May when I randomly found DS Original at CVS. Before that, I bought Jade Is the New Black in January (on sale, too). Honestly, I haven't been excited about the recent OPI releases. But there was one new OPI polish that made me stalk my favorite retailers and anxiously await the day the Germany collection hit the shelves - Every Month is Oktoberfest.

Every Month is Oktoberfest is a mysteriously wonderful polish with red shimmer in a deep purple/just about black base. The underlying color is reminisce of Lincoln Park After Dark. While not dupes at all, Every Month is Oktoberfest reminds me of Zoya Yasmeen in the way that the fine shimmer glows inside the deep base color.

In this flash picture, you can see the purple base and red shimmer light up.

I love Every Month is Oktoberfest! This is one of the few polishes I wanted to put back on the minute I took it off and has earned a place in my coveted 'desert island' nail polish list. This polish will almost positively appear in my 'Top 10 Polishes of 2012' list.

Did you pick up Every Month is Oktoberfest or any of the other OPI Germany polishes?

OPI polishes retail for $8.50. In New York City, OPI can be easily found at many stores including Ricky's (various locations), Gideon's Drugs (1385 Broadway, corner of 38th St), Beauty 35 (505 8th Ave corner of 35th St and 8th Ave), and Duane Reade (various locations).

  6. I'm deeply in love with Deutsch You Want Me Baby from this collection. It's such a rich orange, almost red, and it's got a hint of shimmer. It wears beautifully and I keep getting compliments on it. Check it! http://www.flickr.com/photos/littlecabbage/8044775988/

  7. I felt exactly like you when I took off this polish....I wanted to put it right back on!

This polish is a surprising favorite of mine, cause it seems so.....basic, but I think the fact that it glows from within is what makes it special. Love it!
