Let me take you down to Strawberry Fields

Strawberry Fields is a memorial in Central Park for Beatle John Lennon. The "Imagine" mosaic is a famous image - each time I've visited, the memorial is decorated differently. On this particular day, there were strawberries, a yellow submarine, a walrus, and... wait... is that a bottle of "Strawberry Fields" China Glaze polish?

Imagine

Strawberry Fields is one of China Glaze's greatest hits. This melony pink is speckled with gold flecks and dazzles in the light. I'd say this is a must have in every polish lover's collection!

China Glaze Strawberry Fields

What Beatles song would make a great nail polish color? How about a Yellow Submarine, or Maxwell's Silver Hammer! China Glaze, take note! :)

Visit Strawberry Fields in Central Park West at 72nd Street.

  1. Your posts always bring a smile to my face - and this one is no exception! I love Strawberry Fields. Soooo pretty. As for other Beatles songs...Across the Universe (deep blue with sparkles), Devil in Her Heart (blood red), and Rain (blue with a green flash)...come to mind.

  3. Aw thanks Megan :) I think Deborah Lippman might have a polish copyright on Across the Universe lol... I'm not familiar with Devil in her Heart but that certainly sounds like a polish color! And Rain would make a great color!

Pixie Polish, haha I know what you mean... I keep a running list on my phone of colors I'm looking for!

  6. Have you met the mayor of Strawberry Fields? He's really cool, and the one who arranges that stuff on the imagine medallion. He loves talking to people, too!

  7. I've seen this polish in stores before but I was never quite sure if I'd like it or not. Now I want to get it. And even though it's a long name, Sargent Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (dark dusty pink or red color) would make an interesting nail polish name, or even a collection since the name's so long!

As for a Beetles song name... Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds... its a long one but I think it could work... it'd be a pale blue holo glitter...
