Color Club Wild at Heart Gone Wild

Wild at Heart red hummer

On a lovely spring day, it's great to get outside and walk around Fulton Ferry in Brooklyn. There's so much to enjoy... the Brooklyn Bridge, the boats in the river, the... giant red Hummer?!

Fulton Ferry is a hot spot for wedding pictures - on any given weekend in spring, you are certain to see multiple wedding parties assembled in the picturesque park around the bridge. On this particular day, one wedding party arrived in style!

With a name like Wild at Heart, wearing this Color Club polish almost guarantees a good time. This majestic purple's holographic finish transforms a beautiful polish into an instant party worthy of a red Hummer.

Color Club Wild at Heart

I "visited" this color in the store several times before I finally bought it, mostly because I thought it would be too similar to China Glaze LOL (it's a darker and more vivid purple than LOL, while LOL is more holographic). Did you pick up Wild at Heart? Do you "visit" nail polish before purchasing it, or do you know right away if you want to add a color to your collection?

  1. Beautiful. Love the "visiting" polish concept... I confess to doing this a lot with polishes I'm on the fence about.

  3. I have Wild at Heart. And, yes, I do the same thing. Sometimes I will visit a color for a while, leave it behind, come back much later and its still there. Then I KNOW its mine. Very beautiful purple when you want a more subtle holo.

  4. I do the "visiting" for nail polish, shoes, clothes. It drives my husband crazy;)

And now to something else: I love the concept of your blog. It's nail polish combined with a sightseeing tour! It's so much fun, thank you:)
