The Bull and the Teddy Bare

Teddy Bare Charging Bull

The Charging Bull near Wall Street is a favorite photo-op spot in NYC. This energizing bronze statue symbolizes a strong financial market - a "bull market" is the term used when the market is headed upwards. A "bear market", on the other hand, would be the opposite. The Charging Bull received a fantastic knit sweater for the holidays last year!

What would a Teddy Bear Bare market look like then? It might not be good for the economy, but it looks great on the nails!

Teddy Bare by Milani is a creamy taupe that's almost dusty. I've heard it's a dupe for Chanel Particulaire! Dupe or no dupe, it's a lovely shade I'll be wearing (until it's time to bust out summer neons).

The Charging Bull/Wall Street Bull is located in Bowling Green in lower Manhattan, where Broadway and State street meet.

PS - did you all do your taxes??? :)

  1. LMAO - The sweater on the bull is just plain awesomeness. This color, on the other hand, just doesn't do it for me. And yes...I did my taxes.

  2. I love this color, which surprises me because I'm not big on these colors. I was very interested in this whole line. Yes, my taxes get done asap. Hope yours are done too!

  5. Haha, I didn't hear about the sweater before.

Your posts are so original; how do you think of them?! :)

And I have not done my taxes; I'm going to have to do them after my exam (April 29), but it's no worries since I'm getting a refund (I actually did them quickly, but don't have time to fill everything out and mail it off!) Oh well, it can't wait a couple weeks :)

  6. Thanks Adiel and Cilucia! Good luck with your exam!

I guess it's because my creativity is bottled up all day while I'm at work, and I can let it out here for everyone to enjoy :) Being surrounded by inspiring places and people in NYC is a BIG help too!
