Soon enough, the Fire Island beaches will be the hottest weekend get-aways for Manhattanites. Jones Beach, Robert Moses, Cherry Grove, and the Pines are some top destinations and are under two hours away from NYC - I'm happy to trade the cement and sidewalks for sand and sun! If you visit Fire Island before Memorial Day and after Labor Day, sometimes there are so few people that it's almost as if you have the ocean all to yourself :)
Essie's new pastel Absolutely Shore is a pale green that resembles polished beach glass. I was amazed that the formula was opaque and not too thick at the same time. Absolutely Shore reminds me of peacefully walking on a deserted beach and finding lovely shells and driftwood.

| I know spring is just getting started, but it's nice to think about warm summer days, sand, and flip flops! Absolutely Shore is part of the Essie Summer 2011 collection, Brazilliant. |

Its a lovely pastel. And its awesome to hear that application seemed somewhat easy as it didn't apply thick/goopy/chalky. yay!
ReplyDeleteGreat color on you. I can't wait to find the new Essies!
ReplyDeleteLovely color. I love pastels for spring.
ReplyDeleteLOL, definitely not for the loose woman. Too innocent :p Really pretty!
ReplyDeleteFirst time I've seen this one. It's gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteLacquer Ware, yah it's not goopy, not overly thick, and not chalky. It's def an improvement for pastels.
ReplyDeleteThanks Stephanie! I found this at Rite Aide.
Honey - agreed :)
Loodie - Girl your mind is in the GUTTER!!!
I'm happy to show my swatch of it, April!
I never did get to see this last spring. But I grabbed the new green for spring 2012 - a tish darker and more yellow in it - cannot wait until it arrives!
ReplyDeleteOh Navigate Her, right? I've totally been eyeing that color in the stores! Enjoy it!
