St. Patrick's Day Parade in New York City

St. Patrick's Cathedral, 5th Ave between 50th and 51st St

Tomorrow is the 250th St. Patrick's Day Parade in New York City! You can watch the parade live starting at 11:00AM EST on the interwebs here. There is certainly no shortage of events around town - something is happening in every neighborhood of New York City. You can search for events in your area here.

Today's bright green is Twiggie by Mattese Elite. Mattese Elite is a brand of nail polish sold at Ricky's NYC (I'll be posting about more Ricky's, because it is truly a wonderful store). Oddly enough, Color Club makes a green exactly like this, also called Twiggie. Thoughts?

Twiggie looks like an amped-up version of Peppermint Patti. Seriously, it's a neon pastel.

St. Patrick's Cathedral has a long history dating back to the early 1800s. I am always in awe of how one can step off the busy-ness of 5th Avenue into such a giant, quiet, and peaceful space. This would be on my list of places I would recommend you to visit in New York City.

I purchased the product featured in this post. Read more about my disclosure policy here.
