Cosmetic Show! Part 2 (of 2)

Cosmetic Show, 150 East 55th Street (between 3rd and Lex)

Today is part #2 of Street Wear colors that I purchased at Cosmetic Show!

Burnt is a mustard-y yellow. If this color is calling out to you, do not fear as Cosmetic Show has a LARGE stock of this one. Update: As of August 2011, the stock of Street Wear was very, very low.

Blood is rust red/brown with a glowing shimmer. This color applied the best out of all and looks fantastic.

Prince Charming is a pale blue that flashes a greenish-yellow and has sparse holographic shimmer. I can't say I've seen anything quite like it! This was a very exciting find.

Sadly, my bottle of Illusion was almost all dried up. I tried to use it, but the consistency was tar-like. The color is grey with a pink shimmer, and small silver glitter flecks.

In conclusion! If your favorite drug store product has been discontinued, there's a good chance that it's retired to a bin at Cosmetic Show. For more Street Wear swatches and information about Cosmetic Show, click hereUpdate: As of August 2011, the stock of Street Wear was very, very low.

I will be featuring more stores like this and will keep updating the Where to Shop page, so do check back!

  1. Oooo Prince Charming is beautiful.

Have you tried using thinner on Illusion? It'll take some major shaking, but it can probably be saved.

  2. Would you believe I don't own a thinner?! Reason being I actually never had a really thick polish. This might warrant purchasing a thinner! :)

  3. I'm totally in love with burnt. The closest color is Barielle - Aura Angora, and I love a lot mustard as shade for a polish. <3
