South Street Seaport is a historic district in lower Manhattan on the East River. Several old ships are docked here - it's not hard to picture what old timey New York would have looked like, because this was the original port of New York City! The 'Peking' (pictured above) is 100 years old this year, while 'Helen McAllister' is even older from 1900.
Of course Ahoy and First Mate from China Glaze were on board!
Ahoy! is a bright, deep pink with glassy shimmer (a very similar finish to Strawberry Fields).
First Mate is a bold navy blue that looks regal and sophisticated.
I loved the colors from the Anchor's Away collection, I've never purchased so many colors from the same collection! What collection did you find yourself needing many (or all!) of?
I purchased the products featured in this post. Read more about my disclosure policy here.

I got Ahoy! recently, but First Mate is still on my wish list :)
ReplyDeleteI like them both on you. First Mate is awesome and they are both so "seaworthy" lol
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI ended up getting this whole collection, and I've been wearing it so much (Lighthouse and Ahoy most of all).
I find I tend to get entire collections when its something unique (like glitters of holographics) or really really bright (Anchors Away or OPI's Shrek collection).
Oh my gosh! I just love your pictures every single time! I think I own most of the OPI Burlesque Collection and also a whole lot of the Anchors Away...So I guess a true addict? ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks, ladies! This collection was a big success - yay China Glaze :) Heather - I agree, I think that's it exactly! Lacquer, yes the Burlesque collection had a lot of good ones too!
ReplyDeleteHey! I'm a cream lover, so I absolutely loved the Anchors Away collection, I own Ahoy!, First Mate, Below Deck and Life preserver. Also I'm thinking of getting a few more from Up and Away, right now I only own Four Leaf Clover and Lemon Fizz is on its way :D
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for your sweet comment on my blog! I'm glad I went for it too, it's so much fun to finally share this passion with other nailfreaks haha. I don't have friends that like NP as much as I do, they do like it, but only a normal amount, haha :P
And also, I thought it many times but don't know why I didn't tell you before, I love the adventures you make up for your polishes, and the pictures are so funny! Keep doing that :)
So that's it. Looooong comment :P
So thanks again and see ya!
Thanks, Jane!!!! You totally made my day!!!
